A honeymoon is a holiday in which two newly weds will celebrate their marriage further. Honeymoons can be very enjoyable experiences and can be a big stress reliever. Contrary to popular belief, getting married can be quite a stressful process in terms of planning and preparing, even nerves can get to some people, that is why it is important that a honeymoon follows with no problems at all. Holidays are supposed to be stress free, but there can often be last minute panics and the most common is when the newly weds have not packed or have left out a particular item. Stress is the last thing you want as a newly wed couple, every situation is different of course, but it is best to be sure that nothing will go wrong.

When packing there are some very important things you should try your best to avoid. Problems are often experienced when packing for your honeymoon hours before your flight is due and when there is pressure, stress will often follow. If you’re due to catch a train, don’t leave it until last minute to pack. You should always try to pack when you have plenty of time to think so that you make sure that you don’t forget any essential items. A good tip is to sit down with your partner a few weeks beforehand and make a list of all the items you will require for your honeymoon. Once you have created a list you can prepare in advance and make sure that you avoid any of the common problems that people will face before embarking on their honeymoon.

So when is it best to pack? Of course, the best time to pack is a few days beforehand. Packing too early can never be a bad thing but of course you always have to remember to include every item you are going to need beforehand. If you waste your time packing last minute just after the wedding hours before your due to catch your flight you are a lot more likely to forget the essential items that you need such as your tickets. It has been seen before and it has turned what should be an enjoyable day into a nightmare. So instead of worrying last minute, plan beforehand to ensure that you wake up to a stress free day.

When going on your honeymoon there is not a set standard of items you must take on holiday with you but of course you should bring the bare essentials that you would typically take on a holiday. But the main thing you need to remember is that your honeymoon should be an enjoyable experience, so if you can afford to you should try and bring plenty of money so you can easily splash out once you are at your destination. It also depends on how long you are going for, and this is where planning beforehand becomes essential.

So when going on your honeymoon, try and be organized, book in advance, pack in advance and don’t leave anything until the last minute because you will regret it. When there is pressure it can often lead to stress, which is exactly what you don’t want. Of course, every situation is different, you may be going on your honeymoon weeks after you get married, but its always advisable to prepare way in advance. To some people this may seem quite obvious but you would be surprised as to how disorganized people can be, especially when there is a wedding to plan. Enjoy your honeymoon, follow the advice given and don’t let anything stop your honeymoon being one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

All the details of the honeymoon require one’s attention just as the wedding party does. Here are some tips to consider for a perfect honeymoon travel regardless of whether you travel by plane, boat, train or car.

Make reservations in advance and book tickets at hotels in case you make halts on the way to the destination. If you know how to make good planning you’ll benefit from great rebates; airlines usually sell all classes of seats at the most convenient of prices, but as you get closer to the departure date, only the business class seats remain available.

Moreover, travel agencies have special packages for honeymooners, with various options included. Hence, when you approach an agency for offers and quotes make sure you specify that you are looking for a honeymoon travel solution. Some choose the all inclusive variant and leave it to the agency to deal with everything from then flight details to the lodging, but other couples prefer to get involved actively in the planning.

Smart packing is another honeymoon travel tip some people fail to follow particularly when going to areas with warmer climates. This is not about taking sweaters and jackets when going to Hawaii, but rather about choosing to have some extra apparel items available for all sorts of occasions, as you may feel the need to wear something other than slippers and t-shirts. Make sure to include some extra bottles of water, a few snacks and all the essentials in the luggage too. By essentials I mean a list of emergency phone numbers, credit cards, cash and passports.

There are some very personal items that make honeymoon travel all the more rewarding . Thus, you can pack a CD with very meaningful love songs, eventually music from the wedding reception or some special rhythms to enjoy in a romantic setting. Then, keep in mind that hotels provide all sorts of services on request, therefore, if you want to pamper yourself, the honeymoon could be the right time to start.

Feel the authenticity of the place to really make the best of your honeymoon travel: try new drinks, food and music, local customs, communicate with the local inhabitants, see relevant local sites and points of attractions. Keep bad moods away even if trifles may threaten to ruin the atmosphere.

Where is the best location for a honeymoon?

I’d like to know whether anyone knows a nice location to go on honeymoon, we’ve agreed to go somewhere where they have nice beaches, resorts and such, something tropical. Any suggestions?

I’d like to know what people recommend we “don’t leave home without” in order to enjoy our perfect week in paradise. (Passports, plane tickets and cash are obvious answers. Be a little more helpful.)
Should we pack our own snorkel gear? Beach towels? Nice outfit for a formal dinner? Our own cups to take to the beach because the bar serves small glasses?

It’s hard to imagine spending another dime after the nightmare of expenses involved in planning the wedding of your dreams, let alone forking over thousands for a luxury honeymoon vacation. But after months of tireless planning, you will need to get away and spend some alone-time with your new hubby. Honeymoons can be as costly as a month-long excursion across Europe or as cost-efficient as a weekend getaway at your local B&B. With these budget travel tips, you can escape without sacrificing your ultimate goal: relaxation and reconnection.

Think Outside the Season
Off-season does not necessarily equate to bad weather. Many tropical locations have ideal weather year-round, but rates soar upwards when cold climate residents are looking to escape the winter blues. If you want to hop on a flight immediately following your wedding, consider booking your honeymoon travel arrangements at an off-season location; if you have your mind set on a particular destination, be flexible with your either your wedding date or your departure date to reap big savings.

Consult an Expert
Look to a professional to help you book your vacation – and enjoy big savings. Travel agents provide all sorts of money-saving expertise and can often access on-going sales or last-minute deals on honeymoon travel. They’ll work with you to find the best vacation packages to suit your preferences and budget.

Ask for a Helping Hand
If time away is more important to you than a waffle iron, consider setting up a honeymoon registry. Many travel agents offer services to collect, record, and apply contributions from your guests toward honeymoon resorts and expenditures. Some even allow guests to contribute to specific activities at your destination location, such as scuba diving lessons or boat rides.

Do Your Research
Don’t let your honeymoon take a backseat to the wedding planning process. Start thinking about your vacation once you have established a wedding date, and keep your eyes peeled for deals posted online or in the paper. Give yourself plenty of time to comparison shop. This complete honeymoon travel guide will help you get started.

Earn Rewards
If your credit allows, open a credit card with the best frequent-flier and other travel rewards. Start charging your wedding-day expenses, and cash in on the bonuses for airline tickets, hotel rooms, car rentals, and other upgrades. Be careful here though; you should be able to pay off all expenditures at the end of every month to avoid finance charges and racked up debt. Also be sure to check black-out dates before making your travel arrangements.

Consider the Alternatives
You aren’t bound by the typical island retreat when it comes to honeymoon options, but be sure to weigh the pros and cons of all your choices before booking. While all-inclusive resorts once carried a negative connotation with “mandatory fun” activities, their inclusive honeymoon packages afford you the luxury of a flat-rate and a carefree experience. Bed and breakfasts, on the other hand, offer romantic retreats at typically affordable prices, but can lack exclusive privacy. The point here is that you should do your research, discuss the types of honeymoon vacations available with your fiance, and decide which priorities take precedence. Our guide to honeymoon accommodations can help you weight the options.

From time to time everybody needs to get away from it all, to forget about their day-to-day work and to recharge their physical and emotional batteries. And what could be more refreshing and alluring than engaging in some exotic travels and visiting the holiday destinations of your dreams? Here’s an exotic travel guide for your next vacation and I am sure that no matter which destination you’ll choose, you’ll come back reenergized and revitalized, with a lot of unique memories.

If you have never traveled abroad, I’m sure that there are countless exotic travels that you would like to make. Choosing only one could be a tough decision, but fortunately now you can find on the Internet a lot of information about every possible destination in the world. This exotic travel guide will just help you to make an idea about what kind of vacation will suit you and your family. Maybe what you dream about is to relax in the hot sun all day long and to go swimming in blue, warm waters. Or maybe you are more interested in historical artifacts or the cultural aspect of a place. There are exotic travels for all kinds of persons and tastes; you just have to carefully choose them!

Maybe Caribbean travels are the most popular exotic travels ever, because when it comes to vacations that are all about having fun in the hot sun, nothing can compare to these islands. This is why they must be included in every exotic travel guide. Caribbean vacations have thousands of things to offer to every tourist: clear blue skies, crystal clear seas, lagoons, volcanic mountains, tropical forests, shallow beaches, palm trees, mangrove swamps, sand dunes, colorful coral reefs, huge rock formations, waterfalls. You may choose what most pleases you from this wide variety of landscapes: if you want to relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, I strongly recommend you to choose Aruba, but if you want to explore the rain forests, you will be completely satisfied with Puerto Rico. A Caribbean vacation can offer you the exotic travels of your lifetime: lovely beaches, exotic food, risky explorations, an unspoiled heaven full of joy and most pleasant surprises!

I must confess that the exotic travels of my dreams are the trips to Asia, the mother of countless myths, religions, cultures and stories. Destinations like Japan, China, Bangkok, Singapore or Thailand are recommended by every exotic travel guide, because of the unique experiences and memories they offer. Japan, the land of the rising sun, is the most hi-tech country of the world, but it is also famous for its beautiful villages, ancient shrines and romantic getaways. Bangkok and Singapore are incredibly beautiful places and if you are a fan of sightseeing, you will surely be thrilled to visit them. Thailand is one of the most appreciated destinations of the past few years, because it is a country of untamed jungles, elephants, buffalos, exotic trees, vines and bamboos, but you will also find there a lot of modern hotels and conveniences. If you prefer destinations which combine unique landscapes and interesting culture and history, China could be the right choice for you.

Last but not least, our exotic travel guide invites you to a trip to Greece, where you will find seacoasts and mountains, ancient architecture and great shopping opportunities, coexisting in an amazing mixture of ancient and modern culture. The traditional food is mouthwatering, the seashore offers fantastic views and the architecture is extraordinary. Places like Athens, Crete, Sparta, Rhodes or Corinth don’t need any introduction and they should be included in every exotic travel guide.

Planning for your wedding should not limit to the wedding day itself. You should also plan for your honeymoon. And with this, you should select the best honeymoon package that suits your interests and needs.

Choosing honeymoon package could be easy for some. But for those who are having a difficult time arriving on the conclusion, here are the things you should consider:

When choosing a honeymoon package, the couple should identify their wants. The couple should realize where would they want to go, what would they want to do, and what are the things they expect.

The question as to where would the couple wants to go, the possible answers would be the beach, city, countryside, exclusive place, wildlife, cultural tours, backpacking, and winter.

What to do depends on the place the couple would like to go. For example, the couple decided to spend their honeymoon at a beach. The possible activities could be an engagement on water sports and other water activities.

To make it easier, the couple can create a checklist that would state all the things that need to be answered by the honeymoon package they are about to select. The checklist would also give you the shorter route in arriving at a compromise. Cross out those that you do not agree with and retain the things that you both like to include on your honeymoon package.

Set your budget. Just before you go online and search for a particular honeymoon package you want to have, you should make sure that you have a set budget. In this way, you know what are your financial limits and you know what you can afford and what you cannot. There is no worse way to ruin your honeymoon vacation than spending more than what you have.

After setting your budget, do research over the internet. Look for several honeymoon packages that match your checklist. Select one on the basis of accommodation, price, options, upgrades, amenities, services, and duration of your stay.

If you have a pre-determined destination, limit your search on the particular place. Usually, each hotel in one area gives their won honeymoon package(s). The good thing is, prices range from the most economical to the most expensive and luxurious.

After you have selected the honeymoon package you both agree with, it is time to make reservations. Reservations can be made at least 3 months before your scheduled honeymoon. And before you go to the trip, make sure that your confirm your reservation. Happy trip!
